SoulCollage®: Digging in the Fertile Soil of Soul

Maple Grove United Methodist Church, 7 W Henderson Rd, Columbus, 43214. PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED. $50 includes all materials and light refreshments.

Founded by Seena Frost over 15 years ago, SoulCollage® is a fun, easy, and creative way to express your inner world. Using intuition, imagination, and your willingness to explore, you will learn to create personal wisdom cards that reveal the varied and unique aspects of who you are.

As you treat yourself to this creative experience, you will be making it possible for others to continue their education and formation in spiritual direction. All proceeds benefit the SCHOLARSHIP FUND of the Wellstreams Program.

Facilitated by Lisa Heckaman and Lisa Hess, who are spiritual directors and retreat and small group facilitators with a gift for creating safe, inviting space for spiritual exploration. Resource Building Workshop for Spiritual Directors

PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED. Lunch on your own: brown bag or visit a nearby restaurant 

  • 9am–12 noon—Part I: How to Develop a Spiritual Direction Ministry. This interactive session will give you all the practical basics you need to develop a spiritual direction practice from beginning to full-time employment, including how to use social media. Based on Tallman’s book, Finding Seekers.
  • 1pm–4pm—Part II: The Power of Archetypes in Life and Spiritual Direction. Discover the empowering archetypes of Sovereign, Warrior, Seer, and Lover and the disempowering archetypes of Tyrant, Abdicator, Manipulator, Fool and Addict. Explore their significance in spiritual direction. Based on Tallman’s book, Archetypes for Spiritual Direction: Discovering the Heroes Within.

Integrating Your Gifts: Exploring the Enneagram

This workshop is especially designed for those who are already familiar with the basic dynamics of the Enneagram and would like to go a little deeper. Together we will explore the gifts and challenges of each of the nine personality types and embrace our uniqueness in the process. In addition, as a group, we will investigate the characteristics of the three Centers of Intelligence and discover how they affect our behavior patterns. Combining both instructional and experiential opportunities throughout the day, you will be led to a deeper understanding of yourself, your directees, friends, family members, and work colleagues.

Facilitators: Chris Harnden is a Wellstreams graduate and certified Enneagram facilitator. She studied in Chicago with Dr. Jerry Wagner and with the Enneagram in the Narrative Tradition, cofounded by Helen Palmer and David Daniels. Chris conducts Enneagram workshops and retreats at Gilgal Farm, her home and retreat center in Lancaster. Barbara Hubbell is a a Wellstreams graduate and spiritual director. She has received training through The Enneagram of Essence program with Jessica Dibb and The Enneagram Summit.
