Wellstreams Announces New Assistant Director
We are so pleased to introduce you to Christine Hiester, our new Wellstreams Assistant Director. Christine brings a wealth of experience to this role that opens up great possibilities for the future of this program. She is a gifted teacher, experienced spiritual director, talented musician and artist, and deeply committed to the values of the Spirituality Network. Many of you already know Christine and for those who don’t, she has written this delightful introduction.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The TSN board wishes to announce that, after much prayer and discernment, Andrea Pannell has notified the board of her resignation as Executive Director. Although we feel a measure of sadness with her departure, we also feel excited for her next steps.
In reflecting on her decision and her time as Executive Director, Andrea states, “My time with The Spirituality Network and my commitment to its mission have been deeply meaningful to me. However, since accepting my position (Administrative Director) with St. Josephine Bakhita Parish and School, I have had to be honest about the time and level of commitment I am able to give to the Network. I believe the Network deserves an Executive Director who has the capacity to give the organization the attention, energy, and leadership it needs in this season.
Choosing to step away was not an easy decision, nor is it a reflection of any diminished belief in the Network or its mission. Rather, it is a decision I have made out of respect for the organization, its community, and the work ahead. Again, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve with this awesome Board and I am looking forward to what comes next from you all. I definitely plan on seeing everyone at future events.”
The Board wishes to express our gratitude for the gifts, resources, and creativity Andrea brought to the role. We also wish many blessings upon her and St. Josephine Bakhita Parish and School as they continue to fill vital community needs.
As the Board considers next steps, we are focused on strengthening organizational structure, defining short-term and long-term goals, as well as analyzing staffing needs. This important work will better position TSN for an Executive Director search. Although the search has been delayed for a few months, we welcome statements of interest or suggestions for potential candidates. Please direct such statements to lkbargerstock@anderson.edu.
